Your postpartum time calls for special tending.

The initial 6 weeks postpartum (aka the first 40 days) may be the most physically and emotionally intense of your entire perinatal period. But it can also be blissful, intuitive, healing, and restorative.

This time requires rest and nourishment, not only for your immediate healing, but for the long-term physical and emotional well-being of both you and your baby.

It is a sacred window for healing, integrating, and bonding.

It is an honor for me to support new mothers in this time. I cook delicious, postpartum-appropriate meals and brew teas that will nourish your body and spirit. I also provide body treatments such as vaginal steams and light massage. And I can offer a listening ear and support with breastfeeding and baby care.

POSTPARTUM DOULA SERVCES AND FEES

I accept Medi-Cal and Kaiser. You can use your benefits for postpartum care even if you did not work with me as your birth doula and they are good for one year after you give birth. If you would like to inquire about other insurance, please reach out.

For private pay, my rate is $55/hour with a 4 hour per day minimum. Significant discounts are available for those booking multiple visits upfront, because you will receive the most benefit from ongoing care. Contact me to discuss details.

I recommend planning to have a lot of care during your first two weeks postpartum. If you rest and nourish yourself well during this time, you will recover much faster, experience better bonding with your baby and partner, and feel much better physically and emotionally. You can let me know your due date, pay for sessions in advance, and then I will make time for you whenever your baby comes.

If you aren’t sure you need a postpartum doula but want help with making a good plan for postpartum support, you can book a pregnancy coaching session with me. If you later decide to hire me for postpartum care, part of your coaching fee will be credited.
